HollySys News Flash – SUCCESSFUL SHOWCASE OF HOLLYSYS TIAS (Traffic Control Integrated Automation System)
INNOTRANS 2016 (20 – 23 September 2016 . BERLIN)
China’s first fully automated driverless metro line, Beijing’s Yan Fang line is expected to be fully operational by 2017 and has commenced debugging its system this year. The technology driving the Yan Fang line is the Traffic Control Integrated Automation System (TIAS), developed by Beijing’s HollySys.
TIAS applies Huawei cloud architecture technology to realize uniform integrated allocation of resources. This ensures the safety, efficiency, data sharing, and intelligent linkage requirements of fully automated driving are met. Currently, fully automated driving technology is implemented in over 50 metro lines worldwide and has become the future for urban metro systems. The International Union of Public Transport (UITP) estimates that by 2020 75% of new metro lines and 40% existing lines will use automated driving technology.
